My Garage Door Wont Close
  • First check to see if your garage door has safety sensors installed. If you do Check to see if anything is blocking them or if they are aligned properly. To align the sensors move them around until both of the led lights are a solid color

How Can I Make a Payment

My Garage Door Goes Partially Down
  • This problem usually occurs when something is blocking the safety sensors or if they are not aligned, which are typically found inside at the bottom right and left hand sides of the door. Make sure to remove anything that may be blocking them or if they are not aligned try to realign them. You can realign the safety sensors by moving them around until the led lights on both of the sensors are a solid color.

My Garage Door Motor Sounds Like Its Running But Its Not Moving
  • If your garage door is in the closed position try pulling the emergency release cord which is normally found on the railing of the opener. You should hear a click which means that the door is engaged or released.
  • If the problem still persists it could mean the gear and sprocket or trolley on the opener is broken and needs to be replaced. We don’t recommend you replacing it yourself because you could seriously injure yourself or damage your property/garage opener. What we recommend is having a technician diagnose the problem and replacing any parts that need to be replaced/repaired.
My Garage Door Motor Is Making a Clicking Sound
  • The Noise is usually do to something blocking the sensors or the sensors being out of alignment. Make sure nothing is obstructing the sensors and try to realign them if they are not aligned.
  • If the problem still persists then it could mean that the logicboard on your motor is going bad. We recommend calling a professional garage door technician so they can diagnose the problem correctly.
My Garage Door Wont Open
  • One of the main reasons why the door will not open is because of a broken spring. To check if the spring is broken go inside your garage door and check at the top where you will typically see a large tube with one or two springs on them. If the spring(s) has a gap in it then that indicates that it is broken. We recommend calling our office so you can schedule an appointment to get the spring(s) replaced. We do not recommend you trying to buy one and replacing it your self because it can lead to serious injury or even death to you or someone else as well as possible property damage.
  • If the spring seems to be fine then it could be a problem with your motor or logicboard we recommend calling our office to schedule an appointment so we can send out a technician to check if the motor/logicboard is still good or if it needs to be replaced.
How Can I Align My Safety Sensors
  • First you have to find where your safety sensors are located which typically can be found inside the garage door at the bottom right and left hand side of the garage door. You will see led lights either on one or both of the sensors. If one of them is off or blinking then move the sensor until the led is a solid color and not blinking.
